Now, For My Big Announcement
For the last 3 years I’ve received numerous emails from folks asking me to create some special Christmas jazz piano lessons.
Being able to share music with friends and family during the holiday season is one of the most amazing experiences we can have as musicians.
It’s a wonderful way to share our talents and connect with our loved ones.
So, I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that I’ve just created a brand new Christmas Jazz Piano DVD Course.
It’s clocking in at over 4 hours and it’s packed with tons of Christmas jazz piano arrangements, lessons, sheet music, MIDI files, jam tracks, bonuses, & tons more.
The official launch date for the new DVD launch will be Monday November 3rd, 2014. Mark your calendar.
I’ll be sharing some free samples from the course as well as other goodies to celebrate the holiday season in the coming weeks. 🙂
I don’t release products very often but when I do I make sure to go all out and really create value.
So, I’ll be including special limited bonuses during the 1st week the DVD is released too. Stay tuned!
In the meantime, enjoy today’s free jazz piano voicing lesson. Practice throwing this voicing in over different chord types and especially practice throwing it into your jazz tunes.
It will really help you develop your piano theory chops!

Hi. Steve– i like this chords– thanks- But didnt quite get the do dad at the end of the 5th example — ii v i— the little melodic thing, that was cool, but didnt catch the voicing for the ii and v.( dm-G7) Also in ex. 4- on the B7 alt- do we call the 3rd e flat( using enharmonic name and the d #9 ( which is really c##)
Hi Jill Thanks! I’ll have to do another lesson on what i did for the 5th example. It’s not that hard of a technique. I could teach it on video in about 2 minutes but it would take me a long time to type it out here 🙂 On the 4th example I would call the 3rd of the B7, D#. That is if you want to be enharmonically correct. You are correct that the #9 (the D) would technically be called C double sharp. It’s weird I know, but that’s what we’d call if it we were in a music theory class. 🙂
really great lesson…. thnx steve…
Glad to hear you found it helpful!
