Joey Defrancesco Interview
I am completely honored and pretty much in a state of shock! You heard it hear first though…I will be be bringing you guys an interview with jazz organist extraordinaire Joey Defrancesco.
He has graciously agreed to do an interview for the site. Joey is quite possibly the most virtuosic jazz organist on the planet. Simply unreal!!

As many of you know I have been working non stop for months now designing and creating the content for a what will be my new jazz lessons dvd.
There will be tons of lessons, licks, chord concepts, and deep insight into the style of many of the greatest jazz musicians of all time.

A couple of days ago I invited the community here to join an open discussion about finding real solutions to what you struggle with the most in your jazz playing.
The response level has been great! We’ve had a ton of questions and responses so far. I encourage you to check out the discussion below the article and post your own questions.
If you think you can help somebody I encourage you to answer questions as well. We all learn from sharing with each other!

- Here’s a link to a collection of all the tunes in the real book recorded on Spotify. This should open lots of doors for you guys.
- Here’s Ralph Patt’s very cool jazz vanilla book. This is a collection of just basic chords changes for hundreds of well known jazz standards. No frills just basic chords. None the less an excellent resource. I use it alot.
